Curative will provide much-needed vaccine appointments at Home City Housing on Oak Grove Ave that will serve the vaccination needs of the residents in the Bay neighborhood. Residents of the Bay neighborhood will be contacted directly and given an appointment card with a date and time for their scheduled vaccine appointment.
Mayor Sarno states, “I want to thank Governor Charlie Baker, Commissioner Helen Caulton-Harris, Representative Bud Williams, Dr. Sly Douglas of Curative, and Executive Director Tom Kegelman and his Home City Housing team for partnering together to ensure that this lifesaving vaccine becomes available in our community at the neighborhood level. My administration will continue to move aggressively to provide assistance for all of our residents as we continue to work together with all of our partners and stakeholders in defeating this COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic.”
HHS Commissioner Caulton-Harris stated, “It is critical that we work collaboratively to meet the public health needs of our residents, especially our most underserved populations. I am also thankful to all of our local partners for helping to stand up our local neighborhood vaccination sites.”

Thanks to the partnership between the Commonwealth, City of Springfield, Dr. Douglas of Curative, and Executive Director Tom Kegelman and Home City Housing, this local neighborhood vaccine site will provide shots in the arms for our residents in the Bay neighborhood, especially those who historically have been underserved.”
